Favorite Part of Preschool!
My absolute favorite part of teaching preschool is getting to know the little personalities of all the children! At ATP we believe in individual worth and want each child to know they bring unique traits to share with our class. Seeing a little smile when they accomplish something, or watching them cheer for a friend makes our classroom a friendly atmosphere that I love. Even during quiet book time watching the children choose a book that is interesting to them is fun for me to watch. We can learn so much about children if we keep our hearts open to what they are telling us through little actions during the day. Come learn with us at Apricot Tree Preschool!

Folklore and Fables Classes coming in October!
In addition to offering our preschool program we are now introducing "Folklore and Fables" Thursday morning classes for children 2-5 years of age!

First day September 4th! We are so excited!
The classroom is nearly ready and we are polishing up our curriculum plans to make this year fantastic. Registration is in full swing and we are still offering 10% off first month's tuition if students are registered by August 20th.
Meeting our 2018 class members has been exciting. We look forward to meeting many more students in the next few weeks. It is going to be a fantastic year filled with learning, making friends, and celebrating this exciting world we live in.

Welcome To Apricot Tree Preschool
At Apricot Tree Preschool we strive to not only teach and encourage learning, but to make every child feel welcomed, included and engaged. We love watching the magic of preschool bring your kiddos to action! Our preschool curriculum includes academics, art, free play, music, dance, science, math, writing, outdoor play, exercise and discovery, and just the right amount of laughter. We are also excited to introduce English language curriculum in our preschool lessons for children who are learning English as a second language.
We offer both morning and afternoon classes, Monday through Friday. Parents can choose strictly morning or afternoon, or any combination of both, making scheduling easier for parents with busy schedules.
As director of Apricot Tree Preschool it's my goal to help all of our little ATP students thrive! I am a mom to four children, three sons and one daughter. I have an Associates degree in Paralegal Studies, as well as a B.S. degree from Brigham Young University, with a minor in Marriage and Family, focused on the child in the family, community and culture. I have had the opportunity to work with children and teens in many capacities, including as a nanny, as a licensed childcare and preschool provider, as well as a youth camp director, and most currently as president of an organization of young women (teenage girls) through my church. I offer years of experience along with many creative and fun ideas to teach and nuture your children. I have experience with large and small groups, as well as specially-abled children. Most recently, I have spent the last few years working in the Cupertino School District, as well as tutoring and teaching lessons to English Language Development students, in correspondence with completing a TESOL certificate through BYU. This certificate included curriculum training, teaching methods, culture awareness teaching, as well as phonics and language strategies. I am excited to be returning to my first love of teaching and watching preschoolers grow and progress.
Classes resume in early September 2018. My assistants and I would like to welcome you to Apricot Tree Preschool. We look forward to getting to know you and your family!
